Having a bath in the hall...

Clare here to tell you the next instalment…

The kitchen has been well and truly bashed about, the builders have taken down the wall between the dining room and the original kitchen (that’s what the steel beam was for..) so now it's lovely and big, although there’s still a few props about…

This morning Dad and I embarked on the demolition of the bathroom, didn’t it look lovely beforehand….

Two hours later and there it is, a bath in the hallway,

no one was keen on leaving it as a permanent feature, so a short trip home for some lunch (and Mum’s yummy homemade bread) and we were off to the tip.

I’m sure there’s a clever VW advert in here somewhere, but here you are a bath, toilet, sink AND bidet in the back of Dad’s car.

I should probably mention that apart from making bread Mum also took down all the tiles, she didn't enjoy it, and when she's a millionaire she's going to 'get a man in' to do it! I wholeheartedly agree!!

Here she is! Doesn't she look glamorous?!

The garden is looking much better now Mr Next-Door has put a new fence up.

Katherine also turned up today bringing biscuits (very nice!) but was 'accidentally' wearing flip flops so she was mainly 'supervising'. No photos of her though I'm afraid.
